Senior BIM / Civil 3D Engineer Road & Infrastructure

Position Highlights

• Participate in the company’s global BIM delivery support for road, railway, metro, municipal, and infrastructure projects.

• A key core role with deep involvement in team building, technical standard development, and project delivery process optimization.

• Project types include roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, stations, and related linear infrastructure works.

• Exposure to international project coordination, English meetings, and multidisciplinary technical communication.

• Opportunities to make extensive use of Civil 3D, Navisworks, ACC, and related BIM/CAD toolsets.

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for BIM/CAD work related to roads and linear infrastructure in global infrastructure projects, with a focus on road modeling, corridor modeling, section generation, drawing production, and deliverable organization.

• Independently complete the creation, update, optimization, and maintenance of Civil 3D road models based on design drawings, alignment data, profile and cross-section information, and project technical requirements.

• Prepare road-related drawings and deliverables, including plan drawings, profile drawings, cross-sections, typical sections, and associated engineering documents.

• Support the development and adjustment of models and drawings for alignments, roadbeds, side ditches, ancillary structures, and related elements.

• Participate in project standardization, including layers, naming rules, template files, drawing standards, and delivery checking requirements.

• Coordinate with bridge, tunnel, station, architectural, structural, and BIM teams on model interfaces, data exchange, and deliverable integration.

• Attend English meetings and project discussions, and report modeling progress, technical issues, and revision status.

• Guide team members in Civil 3D modeling and drawing production to improve delivery quality and efficiency.

• Participate in basic QA/QC, quantity take-off, data organization, and pre-delivery checks according to project needs.

• Support coordination with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revit, or other related tools when required by the project.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Road Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Railway Engineering, Surveying and Mapping Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant Civil 3D working experience, with experience in road or linear infrastructure projects.

• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and capable of independently completing road modeling, corridor modeling, surface processing, and alignment and section-related work.

• Able to independently prepare road-related engineering drawings, including plans, profiles, cross-sections, and related drawing packages.

• Good understanding of design logic for roads, roadbeds, municipal roads, or linear infrastructure, with the ability to read relevant drawings and accurately translate them into model and drawing deliverables.

• Familiar with AutoCAD and able to perform basic drawing processing, base drawing preparation, and deliverable checking.

• Familiar with common delivery workflows, drawing presentation logic, and deliverable organization requirements for road projects.

• Good English skills, with the ability to attend English meetings and read emails and basic technical documents in English.

• Strong execution ability, delivery awareness, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

• Able to adapt to remote support for global projects and a multi-project collaborative environment.
