DeViLink is growing! We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to an exciting long-term project for a fast-growing European SaaS product company.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Own the delivery and architecture of the pricing system powering all of the client's products (iOS, Android, Web, API) and millions of users

• Own your work from A to Z — from architecture and feature development through to monitoring release performance (Datadog)

• Deliver product growth and pricing initiatives, iterating quickly on user feedback (the backend ships multiple times a week)

• Design endpoints in direct collaboration with frontend engineers, delivering OpenAPI specifications and supporting developer documentation

• Optimise existing endpoints, driving down latency and ensuring the platform continues to scale to ever greater usage

• Work as part of a cross-functional, multicultural team in an agile environment

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Django and Django REST Framework

• Experience working with relational databases at scale — designing schemas, optimising Django queries, and running migrations with minimal downtime

• Hands-on experience with a PostgreSQL or MySQL database larger than 100 GB

• Experience scaling SaaS products and subscription management (e.g. Stripe, RevenueCat)

• Familiarity with API design, performance optimisation, and monitoring tools such as Datadog

• A pragmatic mindset: you favour speed of iteration over perfection and leverage existing frameworks and libraries rather than reinventing the wheel

• Excellent English communication skills

• A strong sense of ownership — you take initiative and are comfortable making product and technical decisions
