Senior Analyst – Planning Department

Job Purpose

The Senior Associate will support the Branch's business management, strategic initiatives, product development, and regulatory reporting. The role works closely with various stakeholders across the Branch and Head Office to support business growth, enhance management information, and contribute to the development and implementation of business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Management & Performance Monitoring (40%)

• Business planning, performance management, and execution tracking of Branch and departmental priorities.

• Management reporting and business analysis to support performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.

Product Development (40%)

• Banking products, services, including product development, enhancement, implementation, and review.

• Product-related initiatives driven by business, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Regulatory Reporting, Process Improvement & Other Assignments (20%)

• Regulatory reporting, submissions to relevant authorities, and related reporting requirements.

• Process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives, including digitalization and automation opportunities.

• Other assignments and projects as required by Department Head, Management.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial institutions.

• Prior experience in Planning, Business Management, Product Management, MIS, Strategy, Finance, or related functions is preferred.

• Hands-on experience in business analysis, management reporting, banking product development, and cross-functional project implementation.

Knowledge & Skills

• Sound knowledge of banking products, banking operations, and business management practices. Trade Finance product knowledge and experience would be a strong advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to synthesize information into business insights.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English.
