RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing 2D and technical drawings for architectural and interior design projects.

• Producing 2D technical and detailed drawings as defined by the Project Manager and Concept Team.

• Visiting project sites, taking dimensions and documenting existing conditions, and producing the necessary drawings.

• Developing and proposing appropriate construction details in coordination with the design team.

• Providing product and technical illustrations whenever necessary.

• Setting up and developing spatial models using SketchUp.

• Controlling the quality and accuracy of 2D drawings throughout all stages of the design process.

• Coordinating the printing, binding and preparation of project materials according to project requirements.

• Organizing and controlling project drawings, models and design files.

• Visiting construction sites and reporting technical issues, discrepancies and observations to the Design Manager / Senior Designer.

• Supporting the preparation and organization of project specifications.

• Contacting and coordinating with suppliers and organizing specifications for materials, lighting, furniture and other project items.

• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Team Leader, Design Manager or Director.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Can-do attitude, proactive communication and strong attention to detail.

• University degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficiency in the following software, in order of importance: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel / Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.

• Ability to use other software such as Illustrator, InDesign,rendering softwares, and AI tools etc. is a plus.

• Ability to support design team in the pre-concept and concept design stages, with task such as: layout design, reference search, presentation preparation, modeling and rendering is preferred.

• Good English communication and writing skills.

• Strong aesthetic awareness, organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Enthusiastic about learning and continuously improving both professionally and personally.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and within tight deadlines, with minimum supervision.

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and foresee technical issues and propose solutions independently.

• Good knowledge of construction details, materials and interior construction methods.

• Good hand-sketching skills.

• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with suppliers for materials, lighting, furniture and other project specifications.
