Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy & Architecture

• Own the company’s overall technical vision, technology strategy, and architecture across all platforms and products
• Define scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions aligned with business objectives
• Drive key architectural and technical decisions, balancing speed, quality, cost, and long-term scalability
• Establish and maintain engineering standards covering code quality, security, scalability, and system reliability
• Identify and address technical debt, architecture risks, and technology bottlenecks proactively

2. Engineering Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop the engineering leadership team and broader technology organization
• Build a high-performance engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, speed, and continuous improvement
• Set clear expectations, technical standards, and performance objectives across the engineering function
• Develop engineering capabilities, succession plans, and leadership talent to support the company’s growth
• Ensure the engineering organization has the right structure, resources, and capabilities to meet business demands

3. Platform, Infrastructure & Technical Operations

• Own platform uptime, infrastructure scalability, system reliability, and technical operational standards
• Ensure systems and infrastructure are designed to support business growth across multiple markets
• Establish robust monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices
• Drive continuous improvements in system performance, scalability, security, and operational efficiency
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and engineering practices that improve technical capabilities and productivity

4. Business & Product Alignment

• Partner closely with the executive team, product, and business stakeholders to align technology priorities with company goals
• Translate business requirements into practical technical strategies and engineering priorities
• Align engineering capacity, resources, and delivery timelines with product and commercial objectives
• Provide clear visibility on technology performance, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress
• Represent technology strategy, opportunities, and risks to the executive team and Board

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay current with emerging technologies, engineering practices, and industry trends
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, system capabilities, and engineering efficiency
• Promote continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing across the technology organization
• Drive initiatives that strengthen the company’s competitive advantage through technology
• Continuously review and improve the technology roadmap based on business needs, market developments, and organizational priorities

Your Skills and Experience

Technology Leadership & Strategy

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technology, or related technical functions, with at least 3 years in a senior technical leadership role
• Proven experience defining and executing technology strategies for products or platforms at scale
• Strong understanding of technology architecture, engineering practices, infrastructure, security, scalability, and reliability

Hands-On Technical Background

• Strong hands-on engineering background with proven experience building and successfully shipping technology products
• Demonstrated ability to make sound architectural and technical decisions across web, mobile, backend, and infrastructure environments
• Able to engage deeply in technical discussions while maintaining a strategic business perspective

Engineering & Organizational Leadership

• Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams in fast-moving or high-growth environments
• Strong track record of building high-performance engineering cultures with clear standards, accountability, and ownership
• Experience developing senior engineering leaders and building effective technology organizations

Business & Stakeholder Management

• Strong ability to bridge technical and business discussions and translate complex technical concepts into clear business implications
• Able to work effectively with executive leadership, product teams, business stakeholders, and Board-level audiences
• Strong judgment in balancing speed of execution, technical quality, business priorities, and long-term scalability

Ownership, Execution & Problem-Solving

• High level of ownership with a strong bias toward execution and measurable outcomes
