Quality Engineer (Semiconductor - Working in Da Nang)

Navigos Search's client, a newly set up hi-tech company in Da Nang is hiring Quality Engineer. This will be the 1st person to join the team and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and international quality standards. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing quality, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Please note: the location is based in Da Nang (Candidates from other provinces can be provided with relocation packages)

Quality Management

- Establish and maintain IQC, IPQC, and OQC inspection processes and standards.

- Develop quality procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and related documentation.

- Monitor production quality and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Manage non-conforming materials (MRB) and lead root cause analysis activities.

Quality System

- Implement and maintain the company's Quality Management System.

- Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.

- Monitor supplier quality performance and support supplier development.

- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable industry standards.

Continuous Improvement

- Analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities.

- Lead quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve operational performance.

- Support product qualification, validation, and reliability activities.

- Prepare quality reports and drive corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

- Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.

- Must have experience in semiconductor.

- Experience establishing quality systems and quality control processes.

- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, 7 QC Tools, and Six Sigma.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication skills with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

- Fluent English communication.

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
