Quality Engineer (Newly Setup Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Position Summary

The Quality Engineer is responsible for establishing and improving quality systems to ensure products and manufacturing processes comply with customer requirements and international standards. This role oversees quality control activities, supports certification and audit programs, drives continuous improvement, and acts as the key contact for customer quality matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage IQC, IPQC, and OQC processes and quality documentation.

- Monitor production quality, control non-conforming materials, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Establish and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and coordinate internal, external, and customer audits.

- Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as JEDEC and IPC.

- Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and 8D reports while driving continuous improvement through SPC and other quality tools.

- Support semiconductor package qualification, reliability testing, and process validation.

- Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality and manufacturing - performance.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.

- Good knowledge of ISO 9001, JEDEC, IPC, SPC, FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies.

- Experience establishing quality control systems (IQC/IPQC/OQC) and supporting semiconductor packaging or electronics manufacturing is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Fluent in English and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
