Quality Assurance Engineer [6-Month-Contract]

Responsible for leading quality activities for new customer onboarding, factory qualification and NPI execution for Gas Delivery Products used in semiconductor applications. The position serves as the key quality interface between customers and internal teams to ensure products, manufacturing processes and quality systems meet customer and industry requirements before production launch.

Description

* Lead quality activities during customer onboarding, factory qualification and project kick-off.

* Act as the primary quality representative during customer audits, qualification reviews and project meetings.

* Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning and Operations to achieve project milestones.

* Develop and maintain project quality plans, risks and mitigation actions.

* Support APQP activities including Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, Inspection Plan and Work Instructions.

* Coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) and customer qualification builds.

* Establish process controls for tube cutting, CNC machining, TIG/orbital welding, cleaning, assembly and packaging processes.

* Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why and Fishbone methodology.

* Manage customer complaints, NCR, SCAR and corrective actions.

* Support supplier qualification and supplier quality improvement activities.

* Prepare quality reports and presentations for customers and management reviews.

* Ensure compliance with customer requirements and ISO 9001 quality management system. * Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering or related disciplines.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Project Quality or Manufacturing Quality.

* Minimum 2 years supporting NPI, customer qualification or transfer projects.

* Experience in semiconductor, gas delivery, vacuum or high purity manufacturing environments is preferred.

* Strong knowledge of machining, tube fabrication, TIG welding and assembly processes.

* Familiar with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, FAI, PPAP and 8D methodology.

* Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T requirements.

* Knowledge of ISO 9001 and customer audit requirements.

* Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

* Strong project management, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.

Job Offer

Monthly salary for 6-month contract. You will be considered for full-time contract depending on performance and company situation.
