QFS Regulatory Deputy Manager

Educational Background: A university degree or higher is required. A degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or Food Technology is preferred.
Regulatory Expertise: Must be familiar with international food regulations, particularly in the European, USA/Canadian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Australian markets. Experience with the practical application of these regulations in Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) models is essential.
Industry Connections: Experience with and insight into food associations, such as the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA) and the European Spice Association (ESA), is preferred.
Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with organic products, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is a plus.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in food regulatory quality assurance is required. Experience with agricultural products is a plus.
Language Proficiency: Excellent English language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) are mandatory.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Must have excellent skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrate strong teamwork, and engage with stakeholders in a professional manner.
