Our Millwork Division provides dedicated estimating, drafting, and engineering support to U.S.-based millwork companies, combining highly trained technical professionals with proven processes to help clients increase capacity, improve turnaround times, and grow their businesses. As the division continues to expand, we are seeking a Millwork Team Manager to lead our team, support client success, and drive operational excellence.

Position Summary

The Millwork Team Manager plays a critical leadership role in the growth and success of TSARSI’s Millwork Division, with responsibility for workflow management, client onboarding, training and development, customer success, and leadership of a team of millwork estimators, drafters, and engineers.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in millwork, excellent English communication skills, proven leadership ability, and a passion for developing people and processes. While drafting and engineering experience is valuable, the primary focus of this role is supporting and developing the millwork estimating operation.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of millwork estimators, drafters, and engineers.

• Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and development discussions.

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer service.

Workflow & Operations Management

• Monitor project schedules, turnaround times, and team capacity.

• Coordinate priorities across multiple clients and internal teams.

• Ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.

• Develop and manage a trainee production pipeline by assigning supervised project work that provides real-world estimating experience, builds future resource capacity, and helps balance workload across the division.

Client Onboarding & Success

• Assist with onboarding new clients into TSARSI’s Millwork Division.

• Coordinate sample projects and proof-of-concept work.

• Serve as a key point of contact for client communication and issue resolution.

• Help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Training & Development

• Support and administer TSARSI’s proprietary millwork estimating training program.

• Stay continually involved in sourcing and hiring additional millwork team members.

• Train experienced millwork drafters and engineers to become effective estimators.

• Identify skill gaps and create development plans for team members.

• Help standardize estimating processes and best practices.

Quality Assurance

• Review project output for accuracy and consistency.

• Maintain quality standards across estimating, drafting, and engineering functions.

• Work closely with leadership to improve processes, documentation, and workflows.

Required

Required

• 3+ years of experience in the millwork industry.

• Background in millwork drafting, engineering, estimating, project management, or a related technical role.

• Strong understanding of architectural millwork products, drawings, and construction documents.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or projects.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Preferred

• Experience training or mentoring technical team members.

• Experience working with U.S.-based customers or international teams.

• Familiarity with custom millwork production or shop drawing processes.
