We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee and manage our bags manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, meeting quality and delivery targets, optimizing production efficiency, and leading the factory production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong manufacturing professional with experience in high quality technical backpacks, bags, backpacks, luggage, textile products, or similar sewn-product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet customer orders and delivery schedules.

• Monitor production capacity, manpower, materials, machines, and production efficiency.

• Lead and supervise production teams, including cutting, preparation, sewing, packing, and related processes.

• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved samples, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

• Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Quality Control, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Maintenance teams.

• Monitor production targets, output, efficiency, rework rates, and downtime.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Improve production processes, productivity, workflow, and cost efficiency.

• Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize waste, rework, and production losses.

• Monitor machine and equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance when required.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and factory procedures.

• Train, motivate, and develop production supervisors and workers.

• Prepare and review daily/weekly production reports and provide updates to management.

• Support new product development, sample production, and production trials.

• Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining required quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Textile, Fashion, or a related field.

• 5+ years of production management experience, preferably in bags, backpacks, luggage, or other sewn-product manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of cutting, sewing, assembly, finishing, and packing processes.

• Good understanding of production planning, capacity management, quality control, and productivity improvement.

• Proven experience managing production teams and factory workers.

• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Hands on skill, well planning of work flows without computerized shop floor management system is a must

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous-improvement methods is an advantage.
