We’re currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production management within the footwear industry and be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves managing production teams, optimizing processes, ensuring adherence to timelines, and meeting client specifications.

What You’ll be Doing?

• Plan, organize, and oversee the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of footwear orders.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, development, procurement) to ensure production aligns with client demands and project timelines.

• Manage and mentor sub-units including QC/QA, Compliance & Testing and Planning Teams

• Monitor daily production schedules and resolve any bottlenecks or issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.

• Supervise and lead production staff, including operators, supervisors, and support personnel, ensuring they work efficiently and maintain high performance.

• Ensure that all footwear products meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, monitor product defects, and drive corrective actions when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to manufacturing practices.

• Ensure production processes are efficient while maintaining product quality, thereby maximizing profitability.

• Continuously assess and improve production processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization.

• Implement best practices for production planning, material handling, and inventory management to minimize downtime.

• Analyze production reports and provide actionable insights for operational improvements.

What We’re Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in production management, preferably in the footwear manufacturing industry.

• Proven track record of managing teams, optimizing production workflows, and improving operational efficiency.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.

• Deep knowledge of production processes, material management, and manufacturing technologies in the footwear industry.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and quality improvement.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Solid understanding of quality control procedures, health and safety regulations, and environmental compliance.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

• Results-driven with a focus on meeting client expectations and achieving operational goals.

• Detail-oriented, with a passion for maintaining high standards in product quality and safety.

• Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
