Production Engineer (New Product Development)

Overview: As a Production Engineer, you will be to manages and oversees projects from concept to completion. You will act as a bridge between engineering team and supplier to ensure projects are delivered on time, with budget, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the US team to deliver projects from concept to production.

• Tooling follows up from CAD drawing to supplier, review Tools drawing, tracking tools production timeline, injection parts approval.

• Modify and or add details to 3D files when necessary and appropriate.

• Fabricate prototypes with suppliers and arrange samples per US request.

• Track first PO timeline, Pilot run checking at factory and collecting golden sample.

• Review packing before mass production.

• Conduct daily on-site inspections of suppliers/vendors' factories in Binh Duong and other relevant locations, in coordination with the Vietnam team, to monitor manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• At least 2-3 years of previous experience in new product development and quality control at manufacturing factories

• Ability to daily travel to Binh Duong or related areas

• Familiar with production line process to work with supplier’s factories

• Experience in making products from scratch to finish goods, preferably in metal, wood and plastic products

• Familiar with welding, powder coating, tooling, plastic injection process and standard requirements

• Experienced and highly skilled with Solidworks 3D modeling software and PDM.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Excellent math, creativity, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in oral and written English

• Preferrable for candidates living in Binh Duong area

Working Hours: 8AM – 5PM Mondays – Fridays (Lunch break: 12PM – 1PM). You will be working in the factories in Binh Duong or other factories daily.
