Operations Manager (Logistics & Freight Forwarding)

About the Company

We are a growing international logistics, freight forwarding, and trading company committed to delivering reliable supply chain solutions across global markets. We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to lead our logistics operations, support business development activities, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily logistics and freight forwarding operations.

• Ensure efficient execution of international shipments, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain activities.

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop operations team members to achieve high performance standards.

• Establish and improve operational processes, SOPs, and service quality standards.

• Support business development and sales activities by providing logistics solutions and operational expertise to clients.

• Coordinate directly with overseas partners, customers, carriers, and foreign management.

• Monitor KPIs, operational costs, service quality, and profitability.

• Handle urgent operational issues and respond effectively to ad-hoc situations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.

• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of proven experience in logistics and freight forwarding operations.

• Extensive hands-on experience in both Operations and Sales within the logistics/forwarding industry.

• Strong professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Ability to communicate confidently and directly with foreign executives, clients, and overseas partners.

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, staff management, coaching, and employee development.

• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, transportation, customs procedures, and supply chain management.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Highly responsive and adaptable to changing business needs and ad-hoc assignments.
