Job description:

An Operations Manager is responsible for keeping track of the big picture and identifying potential areas of improvement. The Operations Manager’s responsibilities include:

1. Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals.

2. Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.

3. Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

4. Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives.

5. Communicating with the board or other senior officials about shifting company priorities and projects.

6. Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue.

7. Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, operations management, business administration or a related field (Master’s preferred)

2. Age: Above 40 years old.

3. Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years of working experience at the Operation Manager position.

4. “Big picture” thinking & Interpersonal skills.

5. A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles.

6. Strong personal and professional judgment.

7. Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority

9. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.

10. Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactical plans effectively.

11. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

13. Communicate well in English
