NPD & Sourcing Manger (Furniture)

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager for furniture (outdoor and indoor), responsible for managing the entire development process from concept to market launch. This role requires a strategic, innovative thinker with expertise in furniture design and market trends, capable of leading cross-functional teams to deliver top-quality products on time and within budget.

This is a full-time on-site role and NPD manager will be responsible for market research, research and development (R&D), product management, and sales activities on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design: Lead new furniture concept development, aligning with brand aesthetics for markets (EU, US, AU) with designers, developers and costing team.

Project Management: Oversee product lifecycle, timelines, and budgets, coordinating across design, procurement, and production.

Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify customer needs and trends; benchmark competitor products.

Supplier Coordination: Source materials and evaluate suppliers for quality and sustainability through the team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing on product positioning and sales on feedback-based improvements and communicating with customers as a part of sales services.

Quality & Compliance: Ensure products meet quality, regulatory, and safety standards.

Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, tracking expenses to meet cost goals.

Business Target: set up the target and lead the team to meet the quarter and annual goals.

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the development team to foster creativity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills and Market Research

• Research and Development (R&D) and Product Management in furniture and home furnishing

• Sales skills.

• Strong project management and cost management and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in the sourcing and procurement industry 05 years.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

• Additional: Sustainability knowledge, overseas supplier experience, and willingness to travel (local and international) as needed.
