Merchandiser (Knitting/fabric) | 4+ Years' Experience

Job Summary

Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating suppliers, monitoring production progress, and ensuring timely delivery of knit fabric orders. This role works closely with factories, suppliers, sales teams, and logistics partners to ensure quality and delivery requirements are met.

Job description

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials.

• Monitor order progress and resolve any discrepancies or delays.

• Managing production process from yarn, knitting, dyeing/finishing, shipment, payment follow up

• Work closely with manufacturing units to ensure production timelines and quality standards are met

• Address any order-related issues, such as delays, product availability, or quality concerns

• Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to meet customer requirements

• Managing sample development

• Responding to overall production-related inquiries from vendors

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

• Understanding Knit fabric bulk procedure

Must Have

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the fabric industry.

• Proven experience in fabric production, sales, or supply chain management.

• Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and fabric market trends.

• English communication (4 skills - daily conversation in business).

Nice to Have

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and order management software is a plus.

• Familiarity with fabric costing is a plus.

• Good skills in Excel, data analysis, and reporting.

• Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
