MEP Senior Engineer (Electrical And HVAC)

Principal responsibilities and tasks:

• Lead your sub-discipline as project job engineer on assigned projects.

• Supervise subordinate staff for your sub-discipline.

• Perform and check design calculations.

• Produce design sketches and prepare input for CAD/BIM.

• Ensure timely and accurate production of work.

• Prepare design reports at concept and sketch stages.

• Organize and ensure proper sign-off of design reviews.

• Check and sign drawings for submission to authorities.

• Check shop drawings and material submissions by contractors.

• Advise Team Leader on team performance and service adequacy.

• Attend site meetings and commissioning tests.

• Visit sites to check installation works and report.

• Act as project coordinator on small to medium projects.

• Lead (or jointly lead) your sub-discipline in the team for all projects.

• Act as project coordinator on medium to large projects.

• Demonstrate an understanding of other sub-disciplines

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines from a recognized university or Institute, and at least 7 years relevant design experience.

• Poss a valid Construction Practice Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Design
