Manufacturing Execution System engineer

Job Responsibilities
- Lead MES system implementation, rollout, and shopfloor support
- Act as the communication bridge between production teams and IT teams, coordinating cross-functional requirements and project schedules
- Gather shopfloor requirements and define production processes, operational logic, and system requirements
- Support MES function validation, system testing, issue analysis, and improvement tracking
- Follow up on machine integration, data collection/upload, process control, and material traceability projects
- Prepare requirement documents, workflow documentation, and training materials
Requirements
- Education: College degree or above; majors in mechanical engineering, electronics, or optics are preferred.
- Strong logical thinking, communication, coordination, and issue-tracking skills
- Able to understand manufacturing processes and machine operation logic
- Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint, and flowcharting tools
- Experience in manufacturing, MES, automation, or system implementation is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in Chinese, Japanese, or English (any one language)
- Experience with MES or automation systems
- Basic understanding of PLCs, machine integration, and data upload concepts
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly factories is a plus
