Manual QA Tester

• Manual Exploration: Conduct deep-dive exploratory testing on new features to ensure they meet both functional and user experience standards.
• Test Case Design: Create detailed, structured test plans and test cases. Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or specialized AI test generators) to draft test scenarios and ensure full coverage based on product requirements.
• ⁠Fintech Logic Validation: Manually verify complex financial workflows, including transaction processing, account balance updates, fee logic, and KYC/onboarding flows.
• ⁠Bug Documentation: Document defects with clear, actionable steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and relevant logs/screenshots. Use AI to refine bug reports and enhance technical clarity.
• Risk Assessment: Proactively identify potential failure points in the user journey and provide feedback to developers and product managers to improve feature robustness.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (optional but preferred).
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in manual software testing.
• ⁠Fintech Knowledge: Experience working on financial software (e.g., payment systems, digital wallets, or banking apps) is a strong plus.
• AI-Fluent: Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., LLMs) to draft test plans, generate test data, or summarize complex requirements.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to notice subtle UI inconsistencies and logic errors.
• ⁠Communication: Ability to articulate bugs and technical issues clearly to cross-functional teams in English (and/or local language).
• ⁠Tools: Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, or Linear).
