Epicure Catering is a leading provider of quality catering services to international schools across Asia. Our Vietnam operations deliver nutritious, thoughtfully prepared meals to school communities in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and we are now seeking a Managing Director to lead the next phase of the business.

About the Role

The Managing Director will lead the Vietnam business end-to-end — driving operational excellence, developing the team, strengthening client relationships, and unlocking new growth. This is a senior leadership role suited to a commercially minded operator who thrives in a service-driven, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Vietnam business with full P&L accountability, ensuring service quality, financial performance, and operational standards

• Develop, coach, and guide a multi-disciplinary team across culinary, operations, and support functions

• Champion company initiatives, culture, and values across all sites

• Serve as the primary point of contact for school clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnership

• Communicate effectively with corporate stakeholders, providing clear reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, forming partnerships with schools, institutions, and strategic collaborators

• Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese labor, food safety, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Must-have

• Proven senior leadership experience (Country Manager, Managing Director, or equivalent) in catering, hospitality, food service, or a comparable multi-site service business

• Strong commercial acumen with full P&L management experience

• Track record of business development and client relationship management

• Excellent English communication skills; Vietnamese proficiency highly advantageous

• Eligibility to work in Vietnam

Nice-to-have

• Experience serving international schools or institutional clients

• Background in food safety and HACCP-compliant operations

• Existing network within Vietnam’s education or hospitality sectors
