- Oversee and manage end-to-end import/export processes, including sea, air, and domestic logistics freight operations.
- Negotiate rates and monitor service performance with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and trucking companies.
- Prepare, verify, and complete all shipping documentation (Invoice, Packing List, B/L, C/O, C/D, etc.).
- Handle customs clearance declarations and resolve any issues arising during the clearance process.
- Communicate daily with Japanese clients and partners using fluent Business Japanese.
- Utilize English for international correspondence, document processing, and coordination with overseas agents.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to track inventory, coordinate inland delivery, and ensure on-time dispatch.
- Prepare regular reports on shipment progress, logistics performance, and operational costs for management.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics, Import/Export, or Supply Chain roles or Customer service, customer-related jobs.
- Language Skills:
- Japanese: JLPT N2 or equivalent (fluent written and spoken skills for business communication).
- English: Conversational proficiency (capable of drafting business emails and handling shipping documents).
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and customs declaration software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Immediate availability (ASAP start) is highly preferred.
