Legal Counsel (Based in Thanh Hoa)

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturer operating a large-scale industrial complex.

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to provide legal support for the company's daily operations, commercial activities, and corporate governance while ensuring compliance with Vietnamese laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and operational matters to support business activities and minimize legal risks.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, procurement agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.

• Support legal compliance across business operations and advise on applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders on legal issues related to procurement, operations, HR, and other business functions.

• Assist in handling legal disputes, claims, administrative matters, and communications with government authorities when required.

• Support the development and maintenance of internal legal policies, procedures, and compliance programs.

• Coordinate with external law firms and relevant authorities on legal matters.

• Perform other legal assignments as requested by the Legal Manager.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of legal experience, preferably as an in-house legal counsel or with a law firm supporting manufacturing or industrial clients.

• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.

• Good knowledge of Vietnamese corporate, commercial, contract, labor, and compliance laws.

• Experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and providing legal advice for business operations.

• Good communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Working conditions and Benefits:

Working week at site

• 40 hours per week

• From Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Personal Income Tax (PIT): Eligible for a 50% PIT reduction

Social Insurance and Health Insurance: According to Vietnamese Law

Annual Leave

• 12 days/year (pro-rated based on the calendar month).

Public Holidays and Other Leave

Employees are entitled to:

• 11 Vietnamese Public Holidays

• 2 Company Holidays

• 3 Sick Leave days (no medical certificate required)

• 2 days for the employee's National Day and Independence Day

Accommodation

• Accommodation is provided for the employees.

• Employees are responsible for utility costs (electricity, water, housing tax).

• The company provides a monthly housing allowance of VND 650,000.

• Company shuttle bus provided in accordance with company policy (45-seat shuttle bus).
