Lean/continuous Improvement (CI) Manager (Quản Lý Cải Tiến)

Key Responsibilities:

Implement Lean tools and methodologies directly within manufacturing processes.

Analyze operations and identify waste in production workflows.

Optimize production flow, including production planning, line balancing, and takt time.

Lead Lean initiatives with clear, measurable business outcomes.

Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), such as productivity, quality, waste levels, and production cycle time.

Train production managers and team leaders on Lean principles and practices.

Support organizational change and help teams overcome resistance during transformation initiatives.

Develop tools to measure submitted improvement ideas and track their implementation status.

Design and implement both financial and non-financial motivation programs to support a Lean culture across all organizational levels.

Implement process improvement initiatives that reduce costs and increase operational efficiency, and share successful practices across other production sites as best practices.

Integrate Lean principles into supply chain to reduce lead times and improve material flow.

Collaborate with procurement to optimize supplier performance and ensure just-in-time delivery.

Streamline logistics processes to minimize transportation waste and improve warehouse efficiency.

Enhance demand forecasting and inventory management to balance stock levels with production needs.

Coordinate cross-functional supply chain improvements ensuring alignment between manufacturing, planning, and distribution.

Requirements:

Proven track record of improving productivity, reducing waste, or shortening production cycle time.

Hands-on experience implementing Lean tools in a manufacturing environment, beyond theoretical knowledge or documentation.

Experience working directly with production teams during change management initiatives, including situations involving resistance to change.

Experience leading large-scale manufacturing transformations or implementing Lean from the ground up.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Ability to identify root causes and understand process interdependencies.

Strong influencing skills without relying on formal authority.

Ability to confidently manage difficult conversations and resolve conflicts.

Structured, results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on execution.

English language proficiency.
