JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Team Leader plays a critical role in ensuring both commercial performance and team development.
This position is not limited to supervising daily operations. The Team Leader should inspire the team, strengthen relationships with key partners and contribute actively to the strategic development of the Laos destination.
Leadership:
Motivate and support the Sales team.
Develop team members through coaching and mentoring.
Delegate responsibilities appropriately among of the Sale team members.
Encourage collaboration across departments.
Build a positive and supportive working environment.
Commercial Expertise:
Study the needs of the French tourism market.
Strong knowledge of Laos products and destination development
Ability to negotiate commercial solutions.
Managing the Key account production development and managing the Relationship of the clients. Building Long-term Partnerships, Managing complex discussions, managing regular communication, Identifying opportunities for future collaboration
Setting up the Sale Target and dedicating the Target to sale team members, Identifying new market opportunities, Monitoring market trends
Operational:
Understand the Production process, Operation workflows, Contracting principles, Destination logistics, Production development, Quality management.
Digital & AI:
Use AI for Market intelligence and competitor analysis.
Data analysis and sales forecasting. Content creation for client presentations
Major Duties:
Attend weekly team meetings.
Join inspection trips and escort client FAM trips as necessary.
Participate in training courses to enhance skills and performance.
Monitoring Sale target performance.
Communication:
Reports:
Inspection reports, monthly, quarterly reports, and yearly reports.
Internal:
Regular communication with Sales Manager, Production, Operations, Marketing, Contracting, Quality Control, Admin and HR, Training and Development, and Internal Control departments.
External:
Engage clients TO/TA.
