Job Description

Under the direction of the Head of Underwriting Department, handle Marine Insurance underwriting, policy

processing, and related duties, including:

• Underwrite Marine Insurance applications within assigned authority.

• Issue policies, endorsements, and other related documents.

• Input and maintain policy data in the Underwriting System.

• Set up and monitor client files.

• Coordinate with Marketing Department to handle client requirements.

• Provide technical support to Marketing and related departments.

• Solve issues and escalate unresolved matters to the Marine Team Leader and/or Head of

Department.

• Prepare related and requested reports.

• Perform other Marine Insurance duties assigned by the Marine Team Leader, Head of Underwriting

Department, and/or Executives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Economics, Accounting, Law, Logistics, Marine/Cargo, or related

fields.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail, responsibility, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure.

• Good teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.

• 1–2 years of insurance industry experience is an advantage.
