Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior / Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management, contract administration, and commercial activities for construction projects in Singapore while working remotely. This role is responsible for ensuring effective cost control, maintaining contract compliance, and managing financial risks across the entire project lifecycle, while providing strong commercial support to achieve successful project delivery.
Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including measurements and bills of quantities.
• Support cost control by setting up project budgets in ERP for budget monitoring.
• Process subcontractor payments and verify site progress through reports/site coordination.
• Assist in feasibility studies, cost analysis, and evaluation of client/consultant variations.
• Prepare and analyse tender costs and manage documentation for variations, abortive and rectification works.
• Liaise with client’s QS on measurement, valuation, and contract variations.
• Support value engineering exercises and provide contractual advice to project teams.
• Track and report variation orders to Contracts Manager.
• Assist in preparation and submission of final accounts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Attend virtual meetings and site coordination sessions when required.
• Maintain IMS documentation and compliance requirements.
• Perform additional duties assigned by Senior QS/Contracts Manager and Management.
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including measurements and bills of quantities.
• Perform cost control by setting up and managing project budgets in ERP systems.
• Process subcontractor payments based on site verification and progress claims.
• Prepare, assess, and negotiate final accounts with Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Conduct cost analysis for project variations, feasibility studies, and client requirements.
• Analyse tenders and manage documentation for variations, abortive and rectification works.
• Liaise with client QS consultants on measurements, valuations, and contract variations.
• Support value engineering exercises and provide contractual advice to project teams.
• Maintain variation order records and report updates to Contracts Manager.
• Assist in final account settlement with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Attend virtual/site meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders as required.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
• Support Singapore-based construction projects remotely from Vietnam and undertake other assigned duties by Senior QS/Contracts Manager and Management.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects.
• Demonstrated positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional behavior, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, multicultural project environment.
• Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred to support communication with regional and cross-border stakeholder
