IT Communicator (IT Comtor) – Japanese Speaking | Salary 1,000 – 1,500 USD

WORK DIRECTLY WITH JAPANESE CLIENTS IN IT PROJECTS

Unlike positions that mainly focus on document translation, your primary responsibility will be interpreting in meetings between Japanese clients/boss and Vietnamese engineers.

You'll participate in discussions on system requirements, development progress, technical issues, and project planning—helping both sides communicate smoothly and accurately.

What You'll Do

• Interpret Japanese ⇄ Vietnamese in meetings with Japanese clients and development teams
• Facilitate smooth communication during discussions on requirements, system design, development progress, bug fixing, and technical issues
• Translate project documents when necessary (specifications, emails, chat messages, meeting notes, etc.)
• Work closely with PMs, developers, and Japanese clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Use AI tools to improve translation quality and work efficiency

Around 50% or more of your work involves spoken communication and meeting interpretation.

• At least 2+ years of experience as an IT Communicator / IT Interpreter
• Excellent spoken Japanese (business level or above)
• Confident interpreting in live meetings with Japanese clients
• Able to understand technical discussions and communicate naturally in an IT environment
• Familiar with software development terminology and project workflows
• Good listening, logical thinking, and communication skills
• Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn

• Experience participating in requirement definition or development meetings
• Experience using AI tools to improve work efficiency

• Enjoy speaking Japanese more than translating documents
• Feel confident joining live meetings and communicating with Japanese clients
• Want to improve your IT knowledge through real project discussions
