Interior Designer

A. Project Setup

• Work with the Design Director to finalize the client design brief for approval and sign off
• Assist in preparing schedules and relevant information for the project based on the direction of the Design director.
• Prepare a list of documents to form the design documentation and working drawings package
• Identify contact persons and their role/position for client, other consultants

B. Design and Documentation

• Revise the design based on the input from the Design Director.
• Forward sketch designs, details and materials of interior design and furniture for input by the technician team and 3D (if necessary).
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations.
• Prepare furniture, selections, photographs and sample materials for sample boards.
• Forward interior and M&E design concepts to Design Directors for approval.
• Visit the site to take site measurements, digital photographs and investigate the area.
• Prepare specifications and quantities of materials for the works.
• Coordinate with the technician team to prepare construction documentation including details and specification as directed by the Design Director.

C. Project Management

• Review pricing details from Quantity Surveyor/ Contractor
• Follow up details and questions regarding interior design documentation with the Contractor, supplier as directed by the Design Director
• Visit site to inspect the construction and furniture installation, ensure compliance with the design specifications and attend site meetings as necessary.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design
• Minimum 2 year-experience in design
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use AutoCAD (expert level),  REVIT plus
• Personal organizational and Time management ability
• Ability to create / provide design detail
• Good written and spoken English
• Eagerness to work within a collaborative team environment on high profile projects
• Hard working and Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
