Import - Export Team Leader

The Import-Export Team Leader is responsible for supervising and managing the daily import-export operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. This position also supports the Manager in developing operational procedures, improving team performance, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, agents, shipping lines, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily operations of the Import-Export team to ensure smooth workflow and service quality.

- Arrange and assign work tasks for team members effectively to meet operational deadlines and customer requirements.

- Support the Manager and POD in establishing and improving regulations, SOPs, KPIs, and development plans for the team.

- Assist the Manager in preparing contracts, quotations, bid analysis, customs regulations, and customs procedures.

- Coordinate and support team members in resolving operational issues, customer complaints, shipment delays, and escalations from customers, agents, and partners.

- Survey, source, and negotiate with shipping lines, vendors, co-loaders, forwarders, and trucking companies to obtain the best service quality and competitive rates.

- Monitor shipment status and ensure all import-export documentation is accurate and completed on time.

- Prepare operational reports and submit them to the Manager as requested.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and international trade procedures.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in import-export or logistics operations.

- At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures.

- Good negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage team performance and work under pressure.

- Good command of English communication and documentation.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics-related systems/software.
