IE Staff

1. Job Purpose
To analyze production processes, establish standard time (SAM), and support costing and efficiency improvement to ensure competitive pricing and optimal production performance.
2. Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Standardization
Read and analyze customer documents in English
Analyze garment processes based on samples or technical documents using Excel
Work with factory IE teams to establish and standardize SAM (Standard Allowed Minutes)
Time Study & Efficiency Evaluation
Conduct time studies and observe worker operations at factories
Calculate standard time, cycle time, and efficiency based on order quantity
Update and adjust actual production time for each operation when required
Costing & Pricing
Set operation costs for each department (cutting, sewing, ironing, finishing, etc.) by style
Support quotation preparation for Merchandising team to work with customers
Negotiate pricing with factories and resolve unit price-related issues
Continuous Improvement & Coordination
Identify opportunities to improve productivity and optimize processes
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, and factory teams for data alignment and issue resolution
Other Duties
Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Garment/Textile, or related fields
Experience in IE or production analysis in garment industry is preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of garment production processes and workflow
Understanding of SAM, time study, and productivity analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good negotiation and communication skills
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, calculations)
Familiar with IE tools and methodologies
Language
Good command of English (reading and understanding technical documents)
