A. Project Phase (Design & Construction)
IT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture
• Develop the overall IT Master Plan and technology roadmap covering the entire project lifecycle and future plant operations.
• Design the integrated IT/OT architecture across all automation layers, from: o Level 1/2 (Field Devices & Process Control) o Level 3 (Manufacturing Execution System - MES) o Level 4 (Enterprise Systems - ERP/SAP)
EPCM & Engineering Coordination
• Collaborate closely with EPCM contractors, engineering consultants, and design teams to ensure all IT infrastructure requirements are properly incorporated into both basic and detailed engineering designs.
Project Management Systems
• Implement and manage project management software platforms supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) throughout the construction phase.
Procurement & Vendor Management
• Develop Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
• Conduct technical evaluations and participate in the selection of software, hardware, and technology solution providers.
B. Commissioning & Operations Phase
ERP / SAP Implementation
• Lead the implementation of the enterprise ERP platform (preferably SAP ecosystem), standardizing core business processes including: o Finance o Procurement o Warehouse Management o Plant Maintenance (PM) o Human Resources
Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Work closely with process engineers, automation engineers, and cross-functional teams to deploy the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Ensure real-time production data collection, product traceability, quality management, and production scheduling capabilities.
System Integration
• Ensure seamless and reliable data integration across: o Industrial automation systems (SCADA/DCS) o MES o ERP/SAP
• Establish an integrated digital manufacturing ecosystem enabling accurate and real-time information flow throughout the plant.
Experience

Experience
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior IT leadership role within large-scale heavy industrial projects such as: o Steel o Mining o Energy o Oil & Gas o Cement o Other process manufacturing industries
• Hands-on experience participating in at least one large-scale greenfield industrial project from its initial development stage.
• Previous experience in the steel or heavy industry sector is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise
IT/OT Integration & Industrial Architecture
• Strong expertise in IT/OT convergence and industrial systems architecture.
• Thorough understanding of the ISA-95 Automation Pyramid.
• Extensive experience integrating production data from: o Level 2 (Control Systems) o Level 3 (MES) o Level 4 (ERP)
ERP & Digital Supply Chain
• Deep knowledge of enterprise platforms for large manufacturing organizations, particularly SAP S/4HANA (preferred) or Oracle ERP.
• Proven ability to digitalize and integrate complex manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Network Infrastructure & Data Center
• Experience designing and reviewing enterprise-grade campus network architectures for large industrial facilities covering hundreds of hectares.
• Knowledge of industrial-grade data center and communications infrastructure.
Industrial Cybersecurity
• Strong understanding of IEC 62443 standards.
• Experience designing secure industrial networks, including: o Network segmentation o Industrial firewalls o OT cybersecurity architecture o Cyber risk mitigation
Project Leadership
• Proven project management and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.

• Strong systems thinking and strategic mindset.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
