1. Audit Food Suppliers

– Build up/Revise audit checklists as assigned basing on food safety hygiene principle and Vietnamese Regulation.

– Conduct audit food suppliers (new/regular/ad-hoc) as assigned (on-site/off-site).

– Directly work and/or support auditors to work with outsourcing certification organization about audit reports according to (deputy) manager assignment.

– Clarify/answer all suppliers’ questions/concern, meeting with them (if needed).

– Record all relevant data, key in SMD’s files, ensure all documents collected are available for use.

2. Manage Suppliers’ Performance Through Quality Rating Program

– Manage performance of suppliers in a division as assigned 

– Conduct traceability mock-up as well as check the products’ quality of the managed suppliers to evaluate their competency

– Build up and yearly update a shape/standard for good suppliers (grade A/B), get Managements’ approval, then announce to Suppliers/Relevant Departments.

– Summary rating results and announce to suppliers.

– Progress Update about Quality Rating Program to Managements and propose any improvement found during monitoring process.

3. Manage the products testing control competency of suppliers

– Study Vietnamese regulations relevant to food safety criteria including micro-bio, heavy metal, plant protective drug,... to build up the testing rule and testing plan for each group of products as assigned, include: testing products, testing parameters, the frequency,...

– Evaluate the products testing control competency of suppliers by scoring and rating – follow procedure/WI

4. Research about the products season/ products’ characteristic

– Research to understand about the products’ season/ products’ characteristics (vegetables/ fruits/ meat/ seafood/prepackaged food), collect relevant information as well as evidence and step by step build up “products’ data” file.

– Basing on these data, thinking properly way to bring useful information to customer as well as to protect AEON images, improve sale, bring safety and security products to customers.

– Propose for improvement: Compose/Comprehend the procedure/WI and apply it properly while working.

5. Solve quality issues, protect AEON Images and Brands in Terms of SC

– Watching and collecting (and reporting to the supervisor and/or company as appropriate) any news sources (Paper news, Web news, SNS) relating to AEON group companies’ SC related activities

– Investigating the matter (if unfavorable or negative impact on our corporate brands has occurred) 

– Handle quality issue(s) related to division in charge

– Report results, give corrective actions to prevent any future recurrence.

6. Manage and train on law documents

– Research and update relevant new law documents, ensure all new law documents are recorded and managed.

– Study and disseminate the contents of the law which related to AEON activities to the relevant departments.

– Train for suppliers/other Departments as assigned (including prepare training materials/ training conditions; celebrate training program; evaluate the efficiency and report after training)

7. Other duties

– Tasks belonging to Supplier Control’s scope.

- University degree (Major in Food Chemistry or related is prefer

- University degree (Major in Food Chemistry or related is preferred)

- Lead Auditor certificate (FSSC 22000/BRC/IFS)

- Minimum 03 years of auditing experience, 1 year of lead auditor experience.

- Have a knowledge of Vietnamese regulation on labelling, announcement document for circulation of Vietnamese market, certificate of condition eligible facility for food safety

- Have good knowledge of manufacturing, HACCP principle, Food Quality Management System, traceability mock-up and testing program

- Possess strong inspections/auditing skills (both on-site and off-site) as well as communication skills

- Strong risk and crisis management skills

- Well communication skill, ability to communicate well orally with a wide variety of auditees (people at all levels of the suppliers: top management, production workers, sales, customer support, etc.)

- Details oriented and being able to handle multi-tasks and good problem solving skills

- Fluent in English (more than average of spoken and written)

- Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet and computer graphics and designing
