The Future Shaper Program is a dedicated initiative to recruit and develop future leaders in sports retail. Built for young talents passionate about sports and business, this high-energy journey prepares next-generation leaders with an intrapreneurial spirit to master retail operations and drive team development.

Start Your Journey as a Department Leader

• The Position: Department Leader.

• The Location: Ho Chi Minh City.

Recruitment Process:

Round 1: Application & CV Screen (29/6 - 3/8)

Round 2: Video Pitch (15/7-9/8)

Round 3: Sport Session & Job Discovery Day (20/8)

Round 4: Final Interview (28/8) - Full day

Main Responsibilities:

*Develop, enrich, and take care of human capital:

- Embody, transmit, and live the Purpose, Values, and Human Fundamentals.

- Recruit, onboard, and ensure the training of complementary talents without compromising on our essential criteria.

- Contribute to an ambitious store project with my ecosystem to federate my teams.

- Guarantee a safe and healthy work environment and create the conditions that allow for taking care of me, colleagues, and customers.

- Lead and implement our management scheme to foster responsibility and autonomy in the service of both collective and individual value creation.

- Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations and the company's code of conduct.

- Decide with the store director on my team's compensation in alignment with internal policy.

*Build and manage my commercial policy on my priority sports as an intrapreneur:

- Analyze customer/user data to optimize their market knowledge and set a quantified ambition.

- Select the best product and service offer link to omnichannel and circularity strategies.

- Implement the digital in-store and out-store customer experience.

- Build my mass plan for my sports according to Decathlon's merchandising guidelines and seasonality.

- Mobilize my sport communities through my communications and events.

- Build my team to have the best sports people at the right place, at the right moment.

*Manage the “best in class” omnichannel customer experience:

- Embody and manage “the best in class” customer relationship through my posture.

- Implement the fundamentals of selling, layout, and truck to peg on the field.

- Manage the loyalty program in order to optimize the customer data.

- Implement action plans thanks to customer feedback.
- Implement my department to help the customer find their product autonomously and quickly.

- Impulse an offensive commercial dynamism.

*Manage my in-store performance trajectory (People / Planet / Business):

- Build an ambitious annual business trajectory and define a team trajectory.

- Analyze my performance and manage the reliability of the forecasts.

- Formalize the gaps between “realized” performance and “forecast” performance.

- Schedule the good hours at the right time.

- Manage and formalize action plans on my People / Planet / Business levers and my P&L.

- Ensure the in-store stock accuracy and availability while optimizing stock lifetime.

*Guarantee daily safety and organization of the store (Duty management):

- Ensure the safety of people and the security of goods on a daily basis.

- Guarantee my knowledge of all technical systems and equipment within the store.

- Take in charge the daily business and service activity.

• Passion for Sports: You live and breathe sports, maintain a consistent habit of working out regularly, and bring that vibrant energy into your work.

• Intrapreneurial Spirit: You possess a can-do attitude, an open mindset, and a strong drive to take complete ownership of your business perimeter.

• Leadership Potential: You have strong communication and collaboration skills , analytical problem-solving traits , and the resilience to lead by example.

• Professional Foundation: You have a Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of full-time work experience post-graduation and are fluent in Vietnamese & English.

• Mobility: You are flexible to relocate in Ho Chi Minh City.

• Be flexible and ready to work during the weekends (5 days per week).
