Finance Manager Assistant (1–3 Years of Experience)

The Finance Manager Assistant – Costing is primarily responsible for supporting and progressively taking ownership of factory costing and inventory-related activities. The role plays a critical function in ensuring accurate product costing, reliable inventory valuation, and timely analytical insights to support Finance Manager for the entire costing task of Cedo Viet Nam. This position also serves as a key successor development role within the Finance function through structured knowledge transfer and capability building.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

✓ Perform daily and monthly product costing activities in accordance with group costing policies and local requirements.

✓ Maintain and update cost structures, including raw materials, components, conversion costs, and overhead allocations.

✓ Conduct regular cost reviews and variance analyses (standard vs. actual), identify root causes, and provide clear explanations to management.

✓ Ensure accurate inventory valuation for raw materials and finished goods in the IFS system.

✓ Support physical inventory counts, reconciliation of variances, and follow-up corrective actions.

✓ Support ad-hoc costing requests related to new products or relevant costing tasks required

✓ Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality teams to ensure accurate cost inputs and data integrity

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

- 1–3 years of experience

- Ability to work with large data sets and complex reconciliations

- Proactive, well-structured, and capable of working independently under guidance

- Good communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

- Excellent communication in English
