Job Description

The Factory Director will be responsible for the overall management of 3–5 manufacturing plants, ensuring operational excellence, production efficiency, quality performance, cost optimization, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the operations of multiple manufacturing plants to achieve operational and financial targets.

• Drive production efficiency, maximize equipment utilization, and optimize manufacturing processes.

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across all facilities.

• Manage plant operating budgets (OPEX), capital expenditure (CAPEX), and product manufacturing costs (COGS).

• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and industry standards, including ISO 9001, BRCGS, HACCP, and GMP where applicable.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Planning teams to ensure production capacity aligns with business demand.

• Lead R&D and process improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reduce production costs, and develop sustainable packaging solutions.

• Develop high-performing leadership teams, establish performance KPIs, and foster a culture of operational excellence, safety, and accountability.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in plastic or flexible packaging manufacturing.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Factory Director, Plant Director, Cluster Factory Director, or equivalent in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

• Strong expertise in monolayer film extrusion, blown film, Flexographic/Gravure printing, and plastic packaging production technologies.

• Proven experience in manufacturing optimization, cost control, operational excellence, and large-scale production management.

• Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Good command of English for business communication.
