Facility Engineer (US Factory)

Job Summary

Responsible for managing facility engineering activities, including electrical and mechanical systems, construction supervision, testing & commissioning, maintenance, and energy optimization for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Support project planning, construction execution, site coordination, and technical issue resolution with Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

- Manage electrical works including HV/MV/LV distribution, transformers, generators, power distribution boards, grounding, emergency power, elevators, PA, and telephone systems.

- Review electrical/MEP designs, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical proposals to ensure compliance with specifications and applicable standards.

- Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality, construction progress, and compliance with approved drawings and technical requirements.

- Coordinate and participate in pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, and functional checks of electrical and facility systems.

- Supervise mechanical facility systems including HVAC, CDA, Chiller, and Cleanroom systems, ensuring proper installation and performance.

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrical and facility systems, including regular inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.

- Identify opportunities to improve facility reliability, energy efficiency, and power consumption through energy-saving initiatives.

- Coordinate with contractors and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution and handover.

- Prepare technical reports, commissioning records, and handover documentation.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Facility Engineering, or related fields.

- Experience in facility/MEP engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing projects.

- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and experience with testing & commissioning.

- Familiarity with HVAC, CDA, Chiller, and Cleanroom systems is preferred.

- Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical standards, and construction practices.

- Good English communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors and cross-functional teams
