Director Of Corporate Services & Business Development

Job Summary

The Director of Corporate Services & Business Development will lead and strengthen key corporate functions supporting the company's growth in Vietnam, including human resources, finance coordination, administration, internal controls, organizational development and new business initiatives.

A major initial responsibility will be supporting the relaunch and development of SA, including recruitment, HR partnerships, operating-model development and business development.

The position will work directly with Vietnam management and Canadian executive leadership. As the company grows and the candidate demonstrates the required capabilities, the scope may progressively expand to include broader management and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HR planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and organizational development.

• Support the relaunch and growth of SA.

• Develop relationships with HR partners, recruitment firms, service providers and potential clients.

• Coordinate finance, budgeting, management reporting and cash-flow visibility.

• Strengthen internal controls, approval processes and segregation of duties.

• Improve administrative systems, company policies, procedures and documentation.

• Coordinate with accountants, auditors, legal advisors, tax consultants and banks.

• Support corporate compliance, licensing, contracts and governance matters.

• Develop business plans, operating models and implementation plans for new activities.

• Build practical dashboards, action trackers, SOPs and management reports.

• Monitor assigned projects, deadlines, responsibilities and follow-up actions.

• Support coordination between the Vietnam team and Canadian management.

• Identify organizational or operational risks and recommend practical solutions.

• Take on broader management responsibilities progressively based on performance and company needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Management or a related field.

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

• Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience.

• Minimum 4-5 years in a management or senior leadership role.

• Experience in HR, finance coordination, administration, corporate services or business development.

• Experience working in a foreign-owned company or international environment.

• Good understanding of Vietnamese business, employment and administrative practices.

• Strong ability to organize, structure and improve business processes.

• Experience working with accountants, consultants, lawyers, banks or government-related service providers.

• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced English communication skills; Vietnamese fluency is required.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting and business-management tools.
