Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data & Business Intelligence Professional to join our team. In this role, you will transform data into meaningful insights through compelling data storytelling and intuitive visualizations, with a strong focus on generating actionable insights that directly support business decision-making.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand key problems, design analytics solutions, and deliver impactful dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements, define key metrics, and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights that directly influence business decisions.
• Design and develop dashboards with clear business narratives, focusing on driving understanding and decision-making (not just reporting).
• Communicate insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support business initiatives, performance tracking, and strategic planning.
• Work closely with Data Engineers to understand data pipelines, ensure data quality, and propose data structure improvements for analytics use cases.
• Contribute to the design of analytical data models / data marts to enable scalable and reliable analytics.

Your Skills and Experience

Must-Have:    

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Strong data visualization and data storytelling skills, with proven ability to generate actionable insights that support business decision-making.
• Ability to connect data insights to business context, quantify impact, and provide clear recommendations for decision-making.
• Good foundational understanding of data pipelines and data transformation to effectively collaborate with Data Engineers on data preparation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Honesty, dignity, and responsibility.
• Precision, passion, open-mindedness, and quick self-learning skills in big data, as well as enthusiasm for solving business problems.

For Senior-level candidates, additional expectations include experience in hypothesis-driven analysis, predictive or forecasting models, scenario modelling, leading end-to-end analytics projects, and delivering strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

 

 

Nice-to-Have:

• Background or experience of financial services, securities, or fintech.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages.

Exposure to or ongoing learning in Data Science, Data Modelling, or Data Governance concepts.
