Data analysis specialist (12 months contract)

Work with internal functional departments to gather and analyse requirements, build and support BI reports on Microsoft Power BI
Gather and Analyze Business Requirements
Collaborate with internal functional stakeholders to gather, understand business requirements, and reporting processes for BI reports.
Understand the current state of data, metrics, and KPIs for business operations.
Consult and Design BI Reports
Design and propose analytical views based on business metrics/KPIs aligned with functional requirements.
Design data models to support BI reports.
Design and organize data templates (if required) to standardize manual data inputs.
Develop and Implement Reports
Build and develop BI reports using Microsoft Power BI/Fabric.
Present and demonstrate BI reports, gather business feedback, and implement necessary enhancements.
Execute unit testing for data models, business logic, and reports.
Testing and Training
Support users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Guide and train users on using the reporting system.
Operate and maintain the data and reporting system.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or other related fields.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar position.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and business stakeholder collaboration.
Knowledge of databases and SQL programming.
Business knowledge in areas such as Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Accounting.
Knowledge of Python programming is an advantage.
