Component Testing and Validation Engineer

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with MMLs to define, develop, and refine the Design Validation Plan (DVP) for components.

- Report directly to the CT&V Manager.

- Develop comprehensive component test plans covering INT / EXT / CHS / DCL / PWT / BIW systems.

- Ensure all tests are executed in accordance with approved test specifications, methodologies, and acceptance criteria to meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.

- Source external test laboratories and oversee test execution, or coordinate testing activities with in-house laboratories as required.

- Ensure compliance with applicable automotive standards and regulations (e.g., VinFast Standards, ISO, SAE, GB/T).

- Support failure analysis, root cause investigations, and implementation of corrective actions to resolve validation issues.

- Work closely with design, CAE, materials, and manufacturing teams to optimize component performance, durability, and reliability.

- Manage relationships with external testing laboratories and suppliers.

- Review and approve test reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.

- Maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams throughout the validation process.

Requirements

- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing and validation, or a related testing field (automotive industry experience preferred but not mandatory)

- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
