Business Development Manager/ Senior Executive

I. Job Overview

SEKO Logistics Vietnam is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional partner to take responsible for driving freight forwarding (FFW) product’s “go-to-market” strategy and accelerating FFW business for SEKO Logistics Vietnam.

II. Roles and Responsibilities

- To be responsible for the acquisition of new FFW customers and the expansion of the company's FFW customer portfolio for SEKO Logistics Vietnam.

- To implement sales plan/strategy/activities, including Sales pipeline management, to achieve the development plan as well as growing sales revenue & profitability for Seko VN.

- To be responsible for your own customer portfolio management and ensure all of activities/opportunities are updated into the SFDC system properly and in a timely manner.

- Building a solid relationship with our customers to maintain all existing business and to increase share of wallet as well as new developments contributing to the bottom-line growth.

- Regular market intelligent/insights update to respective functions such as commercial team, product team to increase the ‘Selling strategy” efficiency to increase winning ratios as well as secure more market share.

- Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that a new customer onboarding is going smoothly.

- Presentation to customers on SEKO’s solutions, not only for FFW but also a full range of services.

- Participate and support in marketing activities for product promotion or special program.

- Handle additional tasks assigned by direct Manager or functional team.

III. Education and Experience Requirements

- A degree holder in Global Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation is preferred.

- At least 3+ years of sales and account management experience in freight forwarding/logistics, of which at least 3+ years in airfreight/ocean with customer service/Pricing experience is a plus.

- A growth mindset with good understanding and experience in working under a “high-speed-requirements” in the FFW business.

- A customer-centricity mindset and exceptional sales experience in building controlled-portfolios for both direct customers business (local and networks) and co-loading business and making FFW business development more efficient.

- Fluent in both Vietnamese and English;

- Having good management and stakeholder management skills.

IV. Job Skills, Personality and Competencies

- Independent, strong leadership, team spirit, highly adaptable, good self-starter.

- Flexible, hands-on, able to work under pressure, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, can meet tight deadlines.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

V. Working Address & Working Time

Working at HCM office: The Six8 Building, 24-26 Phan Dinh Giot Street, Ward 02, Tan Binh District, HCMC.

Working time: 08h30 to 17h30, Monday to Friday.
