Business Compliance Analyst - Accounting Graduate Or Any Major + CPA/ ACCA/ ACA Track

Nextren Consulting is the exclusive delivery partner of Private Advisory Group (PAG), a Sydney-based professional advisory company. We provide specialised business compliance support for Australian SMEs, foreign-invested enterprises, and corporate clients operating within the Australian regulatory framework.

This role offers direct, hands-on exposure to the full Australian business compliance cycle from day one. You'll work on real client cases, not simulations. For candidates serious about building a long-term career in accounting and compliance, this is a structured environment designed to develop genuine expertise.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage and maintain corporate records within cloud-based business management systems

• Process and verify business transactions, invoices, and supporting documentation

• Prepare and reconcile business data to support operational and client reporting

• Support preparation of activity statements and periodic compliance filings under Australian regulatory frameworks

• Process payroll workflows including STP submissions and superannuation compliance

• Maintain company records in accordance with Australian corporate regulatory requirements

• Prepare client-facing reports in daily, monthly, and custom formats

• Liaise with Australian regulatory bodies as required, under supervision

How we'll develop you:

• Structured 8-week onboarding programme with regular manager check-ins and a peer mentor from Day 1

• Xero certification (Advisor + Payroll) completed during probation

• Hands-on training across the full Australian compliance cycle

• Post-probation: individual development plans, competency-based promotion track, and work experience applicable toward CPA Australia membership requirements (supervisor sign-off) and ICAEW ACA (Registered ATP)

Education (two tracks accepted — equally considered):

Track A — Accounting Graduates

• University degree in Accounting

• Required: graduation certificate and academic transcript (English or Vietnamese)

Track B — Any Major + Active Accounting Certification

• Any major (Finance, Economics, IT, Business Administration, English Language, or other fields)

• Currently enrolled in CPA Australia, ACCA, ICAEW ACA, CA ANZ, or equivalent

• Required: proof of active enrolment or exam registration (exam registration confirmation, fee receipt, exam result slip, or official letter from the study institution)

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel

• Working knowledge of core accounting principles

• MOS certification is an advantage

Language:

• Professional English — written and verbal (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent preferred)

Professional Attributes:

• Genuine, long-term commitment to a career in accounting/compliance — not a stepping stone

• Strong social awareness — able to read situations and adapt tone across colleagues, seniors, and clients

• High personal standard for accuracy and detail

• Able to follow SOPs and apply instructions consistently

• Takes ownership of task quality and deadlines without prompting
