BIM Manager

• In relation to BIM Level 2 you shall take on board the lines of responsibility as the Project Delivery Manager (PDM) & Project Information Manager (PIM), depending on the Clients, Projects, team members you & the Digital Coordinators under your Line Management are undertaking.

• Developing, implementing & maintaining the BIM Protocols for project-based involvement through the management of the Digital Coordinators.

• Ensuring that all stakeholders are on board with the project goals & have an understanding of the BIM process & their role within it, through the management of the Digital Coordinators.

• Ensuring the QA/QC procedures are in place & being completed across all Digital projects.

• Ensuring that model auditing & resolution is being adhered through Atlas best practices, through the management of the Digital Coordinators.

• Managing the BIM mandated protocols & procedures – project & company-wide, through the management of the Digital Coordinators.

Qualifications

• Degree, Associate Diploma or Diploma from either Architecture, Structure, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical &/or Hydraulic Engineering & at least (3) years post-graduate experience.

• Practical knowledge, use & application of EIR, BEP, PEP, DMP, etc based from project experience.

• Optional in achieving BIM certification, such as BRE Level 2 Certification in: BIM Level 2 Essentials Course & BIM Level 2 for Information Managers.

Software Skills

• High level of experience in the use of multiple:

+ BIM Authoring Platforms – Revit, ArchiCAD, Tekla, etc.

+ Clash Detection & Coordination Platforms – Navisworks, Solibri, Revizto, etc.

• Intermediate Level of knowledge in;

+ Automation plug-ins & platforms – Dynamo, Grasshopper, etc.

+ Autodesk BIM360 Design/Document (use, application & management)

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools and software relevant to job functions

• Having experience in the dRofus software is an advantage.

Language Skills, Experience requirement and others:

• In-depth knowledge of:

+ Laws and regulations, building code, especially offshore regulation governing large construction projects;

+ BIM Standard, Guideline of PAS:1192, ISO-19650

+ Architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical and plumbing techniques;

+ Project management methodologies, techniques and concepts;

• Minimum of (5) years’ post BSc qualification experience with a minimum of (3) years’ managing BIM projects.

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills at all levels and the ability to chair conference call meetings with international clients.
