As an Associate Project Manager, you will act as the primary project lead for onsite and remote data collection projects across the APAC region. This role owns end-to-end project delivery while playing a key role in developing and scaling Appen’s data collection initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution, cross-functional alignment, and regulatory compliance across markets.

• Deliver project objectives within project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Develop and execute delivery and quality management plans to support a project end-to-end.
• Provide regular project status reporting and in-depth analysis when required.
• Build strong client relationships to increase client satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
• Drive continuous project improvements and efficiencies.
• Coordinate between project team members in a matrix environment.
• Communicate with all stakeholders, in a timely, clear, and concise manner across multiple time zones.
• Manage risks and issues and undertake recovery actions as necessary.
• Prepare and implement project plans, prepare reports and project-related materials.
• Solicit and use input and feedback from clients, Appen managers and ICs to help drive efficiencies and improve quality plans.
• Participate in the training and mentoring of new and existing Appen staff.
• Participate in program improvements, initiatives, and committee work as assigned.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Project Management, Automation or related fields is a plus. 

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, capable of independently communicating and collaborating with cross-departmental and cross-regional teams.

3. Experience in project execution, operation, and on-site project management is a plus; candidates with experience in embodied data collection, hardware operation and maintenance, and AI/AI data collection industry projects are highly preferred.

4. Capabilities in overall project planning, team management, risk control and resource coordination. Logical, meticulous, rigorous and highly stress-resistant. Able to quickly respond and handle various unexpected on-site issues, with independent capabilities to manage and deliver regional projects.

5. Available for full-time on -site work in Hanoi office and business trips within Hanoi and surrounding areas of Vietnam. Able to follow overall company project arrangements, with strong sense of responsibility, result-oriented mindset and excellent teamwork spirit.
