Job Purpose
We are looking for a Assistant Manager with strong commercial capability to support renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and DPPA opportunities.
The role will identify new project opportunities, evaluate project feasibility, support commercial/legal due diligence and negotiations, and prepare investment proposals.
The candidate must understand project development, commercial structures, contracts, permitting, land, grid connection, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
A. Project Development & Market Origination
• Identify and develop new renewable energy opportunities, including wind, solar, DPPA and potential project acquisition opportunities.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential projects, partners, offtakers, landowners, developers and investors.
• Monitor energy market trends, power regulations, DPPA mechanism, renewable policies, grid development and competitor activities.
• Prepare initial screening reports for potential projects, including commercial attractiveness, key risks, development status and investment suitability.
B. Commercial Role
• Lead in commercial negotiations with developers, partners, offtakers, landowners, EPC contractors, OEMs, O&M contractors and consultants.
• Review and comment on key commercial terms in MOU, NDA, JDA, SHA, SPA, PPA/DPPA, land lease, development service agreement, EPC, O&M and consultant agreements.
• Evaluate project commercial feasibility and identify key value drivers and risks.
• Support the preparation of investment memos, board papers, management presentations and approval documents.
• Work with finance teams, lenders and advisors to support bankability assessment and project financing requirements.
• Coordinate with legal advisors to ensure that commercial positions are properly reflected in contracts.
• Identify key contractual risks, payment obligations, conditions precedent, termination rights, liabilities, guarantees and bankability issues.
C. Project Development Coordination
• Coordinate with technical, legal and external consultants to conduct due diligence on land, permitting, grid connection, technical design, environmental requirements and project schedule.
• Track key development milestones, including investment approval, land status, site access, grid connection, permitting, EIA, construction permit, PPA/DPPA and financing requirements.
• Work with local authorities, EVN/utility parties, partners and consultants to support project development progress.
• Maintain project risk registers, action lists, permit matrix, stakeholder matrix and development schedule.
D. Stakeholder & Partner Management
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, partners, project owners, investors, consultants, lenders, contractors and offtakers.
• Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, site visits and partner discussions when required.
• Coordinate internal communication between development, commercial, technical, legal and finance teams.
• Prepare meeting minutes, follow-up action lists and management updates.
E. Handover to Project Execution Team
• Once the project reaches investment approval, financial close or NTP stage, prepare a clear handover package to the project execution team.
• Ensure all key development documents, commercial assumptions, contracts, permits, risks and commitments are properly recorded.
• Continue supporting the project team on commercial and contractual matters when required.

Yêu cầu công việc
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Law or related fields.
• Have experience in project development, commercial management, investment, Solar, Wind power.
• Strong English proficiency is required, especially for reviewing, drafting, commenting on, and negotiating commercial and contractual documents.
• Experience in Solar DPPA is strongly preferred.
• Strong commercial sense and ability to draft and review contracts, financial assumptions, and project risks.
• Experience in project permits, land clearance, site access and local stakeholder coordination for renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Good negotiation, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow up issues until closure and coordinate across multiple parties.
Working hours and Location:
• Monday – Friday (8:30 – 17:30)
