KPMG is making a bold, multi-billion dollar investment in artificial intelligence, and at the heart of this transformation is KPMG Workbench – a scalable, multi-agent AI platform built on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. Workbench is already powering client delivery platforms like KPMG Clara, aiQ chat, and Digital Gateway, and features over 50 AI agents with nearly 1,000 more in development. As part of KPMG Vietnam’s internal AI team, you’ll help build and scale AI solutions that are used across the firm, contributing directly to our transformation journey.

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on AI Application Developer who can build enterprise applications from business requirements through solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. This role focuses on developing practical web and business applications, integrating APIs and enterprise systems, and embedding AI capabilities from KPMG Workbench, Azure AI services, and other approved AI platforms into real business workflows. The candidate is not expected to build AI models from scratch; however, they should be comfortable applying, integrating, and operationalizing AI services into secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

Key responsibilities

1. Build AI-Enabled Business Applications and Web Apps

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise business applications, web applications, backend services, APIs, and integration components using C#, ASP.
NET, Python , FastAPI/Flask, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern software development practices.

2. Translate Requirements into Practical AI Product Features

Work with business users and cross-functional teams to understand requests, clarify requirements, assess technical feasibility, and translate business needs into application features, user flows, solution design, API flows, data models, and implementation plans.

3. Integrate AI Models, Data, and Application Logics

Integrate AI models and services through KPMG Workbench, Azure AI services, LLM APIs, prompt workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge search, document processing, data extraction, classification, summarization, and chatbot capabilities.

4. Deploy, Operate and Integrate on Enterprise Platforms

Deploy, operate, and maintain applications using Azure Cloud services, SQL Server, databases, and enterprise platforms; integrate with Azure Cosmos DB where applicable, Knowledge Graph, authentication/authorization services, internal systems, and secure API endpoints.

5. Ensure Standardization, Reusability and Agile Delivery

Support testing, debugging, UAT, production issue resolution, logging, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement while following enterprise governance, security, responsible AI, coding standards, and reusable development patterns.
