RGF's Client - a Japanese company in the logistics industry
- is looking for a
Sales Manager to lead and develop the sales team, manage key customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, promote logistics services, lead customer negotiations, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure high-quality service delivery. The position will also monitor market trends and sales performance while coaching sales members to strengthen their business development and negotiation skills.
Working Location: Tan Son Nhat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
Monthly Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications
Job Description
Lead and develop the sales team to achieve sales targets and support sustainable business growth
Maintain strong relationships with key Japanese and international customers to improve satisfaction and retention
Identify and develop new business opportunities with Japanese, local, and overseas customers
Promote the company's logistics services, including air and sea freight, customs clearance, domestic transport, and warehousing
Visit key customers and prospects with sales members to understand needs, propose solutions, and support closing deals
Review and follow up on quotations, proposals, and sales plans to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and feasibility
Lead customer negotiations on contracts, pricing, and service conditions while balancing customer needs and company profitability
Coordinate with related departments to ensure smooth and high-quality service delivery
Monitor sales pipelines, customer activities, market trends, and competitors, and report to management with clear action plans
Coach and guide sales members to improve customer handling, proposal quality, negotiation skills, and business development ability
Represent the company at industry events, Japanese business forums, and customer networking activities when required
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Language:
English - Business Level
- Experience:
At least 3 years of working experience in Sales in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, including import/export operations:
Basic knowledge of logistics operations, including import/export, Incoterms and freight rate.
Experience working for a Japanese company or doing business with Japanese clients.
Experience in managing team performance, coaching members, and following up on sales activities.
Leading or managing experience required.
