Gaming industry - is looking for an
Effect Designer to create and optimize 3D visual effects (VFX) for mobile games, including battle scenes, backgrounds, avatars, UI effects, and particle effects using Unity, while collaborating with designers and engineers to ensure high-quality in-game implementation.
Working Location:
Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City
Monthly Salary:
~ 30M VND Gross
Job description
Create 3D visual effects (VFX) for mobile games, including backgrounds, battle scenes, avatars, and UI effects
Design and develop new effects based on game concepts and requirements
Improve and polish existing visual effects to enhance quality
Utilize Unity (Particle System, Shader, etc.) to implement visual effects
Create and adjust particle effects, textures, and meshes for VFX production
Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure smooth implementation
Support other tasks related to effect production as required
Necessary Skill / Experience
At least 4 years of experience in creating character and background models for mobile games, PC games, PS, or Xbox games
Experience using Maya (3D Max experience is acceptable, but final data should be created in Maya)
Experience using Photoshop
Experience using ZBrush
Experience in a realistic or Hand-painted art style
Ability to understand technical specifications and modify 3D data accordingly
Good understanding of visual effect pipelines in game development
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Preferable Skill/ Experience
Experience using Substance Painter
Experience using Unity and/or Unreal Engine
Experience creating high-poly character, background, or props models
Experience converting high-poly models to low-poly
Knowledge of scripting languages such as MEL, Python, MAXScript, or JavaScript
