Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Stamping Department to join our team at VinFast. This role is crucial in overseeing the stamping operations within our new manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team dedicated to producing high-quality components for our electric vehicles, ensuring efficiency and innovation in our production processes.

Job Description:

• Lead and manage the stamping department to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve stamping processes and reduce waste.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure product specifications are met.

• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet demand.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all stamping operations.

• Train and mentor department staff to enhance skills and performance.

• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong background in stamping processes and technologies.

• Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
